How the Application Works

LitReview is a desktop application that runs entirely on your local device. When you search for academic papers:

• Searches are sent directly from your computer to Google Scholar
• Results are processed locally on your device
• All data, including search history and saved searches, is stored only on your computer
• No information passes through our servers

Payment Processing

Payment for LitReview is processed securely through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We do not store your payment information. Stripe may collect:

• Payment card information
• Billing address
• Email address for receipt purposes

Third-Party Services

LitReview uses Google Scholar to retrieve search results. When you use the application:
